A stretch of beach on the North Sea in The Netherlands, with the town of Scheveningen visible in the background.
Edit: I you like this, check this: [link] . I only became aware of this deviation after I submitted mine, but the concept is remarkably similar.
The sun was pointing straight at me, just out of shot to the left. There was also a strong wind which blew sand towards the camera, and the position of the sun combined with the sand in the air and just above the ground gives this shot its feel.
